Day Three of Cruise

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

Day three of the cruise found us docked at Cozumel, Mexico.  The ship docked around 9:30 A.M. which gave everyone time to have breakfast before leaving the ship for their day of adventure.  There were many options for people to choose from all of the events listed.  All events were conducted except for one which was cancelled due to high winds of 30 knots.  Those winds were the same winds that caused the ship to roll last-night and today as we approached Cozumel.

My wife, Diane, and I did not take advantage of any of the planned tours; instead, we elected to walk around Cozumel and take pictures.  My wife is a professional photographer so she had a great time today in Cozumel.  When we got back to the ship, she viewed her pictures and was very pleased with her work.

Tonight we had a special panel session conducted by Mike Filsaime.  The panel consisted of five men and one woman.  The topic of the panel focused on the Maverick group and the good the group does for man kind.  The group is a small group of men and women who had bonded together and do extreme activities together.  One of the members is Mike Hill and he shared more information with me about the group.  DSC00338

The discussion ended with a message of helping people makes us feel better and with a feeling of gratification.

Dinner tonight was open seating and we sat at a table for four and should a good meal with a great couple from our home area.  Yes, you can and will meet the nicest people on the Internet Marketers Cruise.

Until tomorrow.

Go out and make it a $ucce$$ful day!

Day Two of Cruise

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

Today, Sunday, is day two of the seven day cruise and the weather is finally getting warmer as we sail further south.  The schedule for the morning was left open so we had the opportunity to explore the ship and learn where rooms, restaurants, shops etc were located.  Speaking of that, I learned there are 3950 guests on board, 430 are the Internet Marketers, and the Dream can accommodate 4633 guests plus the crew of 1369.  Just think of the number of meals that will be served during the seven day cruise.

This afternoon we had a three hour Mastermind Meeting conducted by Mike Filsaime.  Every person was given 30 seconds to state their name, where they are from, what they had to offer, what they need and state their name again at the end of the 30 seconds.  This was very beneficial because it gave us the opportunity to know who we could help and who could help those that needed help.  The good thing about doing this at the beginning of the cruise is it allows people to get together during the cruise and have  a plan of action by the end of the cruise.

The cruise will have two formal dinner nights and tonight was the first of the two.  The seating was open seating and I was fortunate to sit at the table with Reed Floreen.  Reed is one of the top giveaway promoters and he was gracious enough to say he would educate me on the giveaways and the J.V. portion within the giveaways.  At the time of this writing, I am building my list by the giveaways and I am positive if I knew the ins and outs of the program I would build my list larger at a faster pace.  If I get just half the knowledge that Reed had I will be smokin with my list building.  As you can see from the picture, an old dog can learn new tricks (I’m the old guy in the picture).  Thank you Reed!

LAUNCH DAY

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

The day finally arrived for the launch of the Internet Marketers Cruise from Port Canaveral on Carnival’s newest and largest ship the Dream.  This ship is over 1000 feet     in length and today there are over 3000 guests on board.  That number includes the 430 Internet Marketers, people of like minds working and having fun together.  We all started the day from the hotel or airport in a raining, cold, windy and overcast day.  We had to stand in line outside and wait our turn to get inside to go through the check-in phase of the cruise.  Here we are, a bunch of people outside bundled up with gloves, coats and hoods trying to stay warm until we could find some warmth on the ship.  Everyone finally got onboard and we are sailing south to find that warm weather.

We got onboard around 1:30 P.M. and had our first meal on the ship.  Needless to say, everyone was ready for some food.  About 4:00 P.M. the Dream pushed off and started our seven cruise.

Later that evening, we had our Welcome Party where Mike Filsaime, Donna Fox, Tom Beal and Captain Lou shared the events of the week.  Following the party, it was time for dinner and we all went to our assigned table of a delicious meal.  My wife, Diane, and I were lucky to share a table with Melinda and Omar Martin.  Omar worked closely with Mike Filsaime for years and he was gracious enough to give my wife and me some valuable information on how to become successful in the Internet Marketing arena.  I will share some of that information in the near future.
